Hugh's career began in his teens and spans 30 plus years. His guitar playing can be heard on over a dozen top 20 hits and over 100 movies. Hugh had a solo career in Japan while playing as WHAM's guitarist, unknown to then WHAM fans in UK. This came about about after the WHAM Japan tour. Executives at Toshiba / EMI were that impressed with Hugh ability they gave him a recording contract for 2 acoustic guitar albums. These albums were strong long sellers with some tracks becoming theme tunes for radio and TV programmes in Japan. Read more about Hugh's recent self produced smooth jazz album Synchromatic.
